Ministry Partners are organizations that operate and are governed outside of the Southwestern Texas Synod, with which we work closely to extend God's mission. Regional Ministry Partners include outdoor ministries, universities, seminaries, social service, financial and advocacy organizations. ELCA Ministry partners extend our reach globally.

We find fullness in relationships with other churches even as we partner with other religions and communities for the sake of the world. Partnerships include other church bodies and ecumenical organizations.

Region 4-South Archives

Archives have been called the collective memory of an organization. In order to preserve the entire history of the synods and churches of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, well-maintained and accessible archives are needed. The Region 4-South Archives has materials pertaining to the history of the Church in this region of the ELCA. To view the materials available, please click Archives Online. The Collection is constantly being cataloged and updated; we invite you to visit the site often. For specific questions not addressed on the website, e-mail a volunteer at the Archives. The Archives is staffed entirely by volunteers, and your questions will be addressed as soon as possible.

Women of the ELCA

The Synodical Women's Organization (SWO) of the Southwestern Texas Synod includes all women in ELCA congregations of the synod. Our mission is mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ by working to develop and nurture relationships with women that together we create a safe and inclusive community.

By God’s grace, to intentionally disciple men by personally modeling the character of Jesus by living and leading a lifestyle intended to help transform them from having an inward focus to a culture of naturally loving and serving our neighbors.
